Dental Specialisations

Our experienced dental specialists also provide the following dental treatments.

Prosthodontic Treatment

Prosthodontics is the specialty of dental implant, esthetic and reconstructive dentistry. Prosthodontists specialize in the restoration of oral function by creating prostheses and restorations (i.e. complete dentures, crowns, implant retained/supported restorations). Complex cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and joint problems all fall under the field of prosthodontics.

Patients are referred to a specialist Prosthodontist to treat complex cosmetic cases, full mouth reconstructions, TMJ related disorders (a variety of conditions that cause tenderness and pain in the temporomandibular joint , that is your ball-and-socket joint on each side of your head joining your jawbone), congenital disorders, and sleep apnea by planning and fabricating various prostheses and orthotic appliances.

Paedodontic Treatment

Paedodontists focus on prevention and management of disease or growth disturbances in children and adolescents. Treatment under conscious sedation or general anaesthesia is an integral part of specialist practice.

Maxillofacial Treatment

Maxillofacial specialists, also know as oral surgeons, treat patients who have defects of the head and neck (maxillofacial) region due to surgery, trauma, and/or birth defect. Common procedures include the removal of difficult wisdom and the surgical placement of dental implants.

Dental Corporation has specialist Oral / Maxillofacial surgeons in our network of dental practices that you can be referred to for specialist dental care.
