Founded in 2007, Dental Corporation acquires and partners with high quality dental practices which are run by experienced practitioners.

Since its foundation, Dental Corporation has continually expanded and developed an array of support services that are revolutionising the dental profession.

With a significant portfolio of practices our year on year growth has been exceptional. Our 150th practice was settled in April 2011 with plans to continue our expansion into international markets.

The growth of Dental Corporation over the last 4 years culminated in a significant investment in Dental Corporation by international healthcare group Fortis Global Healthcare Pte Ltd in December 2010. Further investment was made in May 2011 taking a controlling stake in the business by acquiring shares from existing shareholders including dentists.

An associated company, Fortis Hospitals, is already the largest private hospital operator in India being listed on the Mumbai Stock Exchange with a market capitalisation of over USD1.2 billion and has other operations in Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

Since October 2007 (and including the Fortis investment) the business has raised over $180m in equity funding from outside investors and issued more than $50m in equity to partner dentists.

Dental Corporation has a banking syndicate that includes three of Australia’s four major banks.
